Self-knowledge and team interaction are in the core of The WeLaB. We base our coaching and workshops on these elements because together they make up the secret ingredient of a successful team.

That ingredient is called psychological safety.

Psychological safety means knowing the strengths and weaknesses of yourself and your teammates. When this state is achieved employees feel more comfortable at work and accomplish more as a team.

According to Google’s study, up to 40% of a team’s performance can be based on psychological safety. It’s easy to understand why more companies have started to see the value of people-oriented team development.

Patrick Lencioni, American writer and the pioneer of team management, also writes about the topic in his best-selling book The Advantage:
